Hi my name is john, i have been lifting weights on and off for years, i have been most serious about it starting this year. I am 23 years old and stopped drinking alcohol around dec. of last year so i can grow the biggest and look my best! Unfortunitely its not as easy as i would like it to be lol. My main goal is to try to look good on the beach, well and to not be small. I would like to look like i workout while still having a shirt on, but i usually don't until it is off. I used to do Deadlifts and i tried to do squats (yeah i know they are very important) But at the same time I don't want to be older and have any back problems or joint problems. I know doing them with proper form should be safe, i feel as if i am not flexible for them, i am much more comfortable doing deadlifts. a few months ago i think i strained my right trap(upper back area close to my spine, right side) doing dumb bell shruggs, basically would cramp up and i wouldn't be able to turn my neck through complete range of motion and if i slept funny it would act up real bad, seems perfect now after i took some muscle relaxers; on top of that, about a month ago i almost injuried possibly my right rotator cuff trying to get a really deep stretch doing flat db fly's on the narrowest bench i could find... So i just came back Sat to lifting weights after 2 weeks off, ands today i met Joe(OutForBlood) at STF.

Today I did my Chest and Tri's, '

Flat DB's warmed up alot for these since i was recovering from my slight possible injury.

i did lighter weight for around 12 reps increasing by 5lbs each set as i felt comfortable, and stopped at 45 lb DB's x10 reps

Then Incline DB's 12 reps increasing weight as long as i felt comfortable x 4 sets.

Fly machine X 4 sets.

I kept my time between sets pretty low.

TRI's

Did 4 set of reverse pull downs for 8 reps

then 2 sets of the machine over head tricep extensions( figured i didn't want to go over board since my tri's got hit during chest.)

I think i may be bigger then this now not sure though this is from Feb.
